Hi all,
I've noticed there's currently two problems with index files (files named
'index', which should normally be displayed when you request a directory
like man/3) on the wiki:
1) If you have dir/a/index and dir/b is a symlink to dir/a, the URL
http://example.com/dir/b does not show the index, but some weird
Apache directory listing.
2) If you have dir/a/Foo and dir/a/index is a symlink to dir/a/Foo,
the URL http://example.com/dir/a also shows
You can see 1) in action at http://chicken.wiki.br/egg/ and 2) at
http://chicken.wiki.br/man/4/
The /egg is a symlink to /eggref/4, which works as expected (showing
the page /eggref/4/index). The /man/4 has an index file which is a
symlink pointing to the file "The User's Manual".
Then there's also /manual, which is a symlink to /man/4, which
itself contains the symlink mentioned above (double bug!).
Cheers,
Peter
