Hi, guys.

I checked a few k's of your mailing archive, in vain, so I'd appreciate some
help & hints.

I built the 6.07 version on a PIII machine with a stock Linux 2.4.19 kernel,
and a RedHat 7.3 distro, with KDE as wm. I simply did configure, make and
./electric.
The application pops up 4 windows: Components, Electric, Electric Messages and
dialog_popup. The pointer pixmap, in the not-hot zones, is a sand glass.
Regardless the button I hit in the dialog box, I dont get any reaction from
the GUI. strace tells me, a read call from file descriptor 4 returns with
EAGAIN, while the select has notified some data (1 byte) being available. I
assume, this descriptor references the pointer ?
It writes tons of 'Warning: Cannot find callback list in XtAddCallback' to
stderr (or stdout), for a short time. Shame on me, I wasn't able to locate
the source line, producing this message ..
The program doesnt suck CPU, nor doesnt crash. It responds to signals as
expected.

The html UNIX install docs say
'Although Electric will run properly from the directory where it was built'
They are lying a little bit, arent they ?

Thx
Michael
