I was designing something similar. It's a block that calculates square value of the signal and there are two "thresholds", first is power threshold and the second is time threshold, which means that in order to be detected, burst must have appropriate power and duration. This explains nothing, but maybe you will get some ideas.Best

That’s exactly what I want to do. But I use the usrp_spectrum_sense.py to get each channel’s power and then compare with the threshold. Maybe you should try the usrp_spectrum_sense.py.
