I am working on a custom BPSK packet-based TX/RX flowgraph(s) and the TX side seems to operate pretty well and is fairly clean, but the receive side is where I have a question.  I was attempting to use the Constellation Receiver block, but I am having trouble understanding the minimum/maximum freq deviation parameters.  My stream going into the block seems pretty good, and I am pretty happy with everything I've done up to that point, but the stream coming out just does not look great.  It really seems like the block is distorting things somehow, and I have a suspicion that those two parameters are to blame.  Unfortunately, you can only find a few references to that block online, and it is usually people asking the same question I am, but without a resolution.  I can tell when I've tweaked the parameters so badly that everything goes sideways, but I am basically imperially testing it, and it feels like that is hoping that a shot-in-the-dark is going to hit.  

Since they are normalized, are they normalizing 2*pi to 1?  I've seen some examples where the minimum was a negative number, but it seems like if that was what was needed, it would be symmetrical about zero and you wouldn't need to inputs, just one number that would be the +/-.   Does anyone have any real experience with this block and might have some insights?  I am using a pair of N320s to transmit and receive this BPSK signal that is fairly infrequent (think a small burst once a second).
