URL: <http://savannah.nongnu.org/bugs/?25530> Summary: commandline passwd not working Project: duplicity Submitted by: jara Submitted on: Mon 09 Feb 2009 06:43:24 PM GMT Category: None Severity: 3 - Normal Item Group: None Status: None Privacy: Public Assigned to: None Originator Email: Open/Closed: Open Discussion Lock: Any _______________________________________________________ Details: Using password commandline as in the below case does not work. It gives an invalid password and keeps retrying although the password "pass" is valid. It works if I setup ssh keys, but I would like to specify the password commandline without a prompt for it. duplicity /var/opt scp://user:address@hidden//var/backup The workaround is to use the option -ssh-askpass ie. duplicity --ssh-askpass /var/opt scp://user:address@hidden//var/backup _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.nongnu.org/bugs/?25530> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.nongnu.org/
