WinXP ftp client seems to only accept double-quoted paths "C:\Documents and Settings\..." Main issue is that we quite boldly say "use c:\WINNT\system32\FTP.EXE instead!"[1], when it comes to picking the right ftp client. For native XEmacs I don't have much of a choice anyway.
