Hi all,

firstly, welcome to Andrea, Stanley and Razvan our newest members. We are
fast approaching critical mass which is great. Razvan and Andrea have said
they are keen on helping with maths.

I have a commitment from Dawn Webber and Lara Minter that they will be
joining in the next two weeks to help with chemistry.

The group is growing quite quickly now and its a good time to get some
organisation in place. I have started getting section breakdowns in the
book. We can use these to allocate assignments. This will happen shortly!

To help with coordination we are going to have a meeting at UCT. The
meeting will be at 10am in the RW James building on the
26th November. We'll provide tea/coffee and snacks and the meeting
shouldn't last much more than 45 minutes. We'll try to make sure everyone
has a plan when they leave. Its not crucial that people come but it would
be nice if we could all meet.

I'll start polling people before then about preferred
sections/assignments.

I also have some CDs in my office for windows users who need Miktex and
editors etc.

Cheers,

Mark Horner
