I assume you mean that it doesn't work *in your system*. 
I can only test it in my own intel mac, where it runs just fine.

the package contains fluidsynth from SVN-trunk and other bleeding edge 
libraries (gettext 0.18.1.1, glib/gthread 2.28.5, Qt 4.7). There may be a bug 
in any of these components. Hard to say with the data of your report.
