Hi, Ahmed
Thanks for your report.

There are large difference between both reverb about "ringins". Anyway i cannot says that there is no more ringins at all.If you try very percusives instruments (not drum necessarily) may be you will hear somes "ringings".
>However, the width value range has no effect on the output;
The width value have the same functionality and same range that for freeverb (the actual FluidSynth reverb). However it sounds different on freemverb (the new reverb).
The range value is: [0 .. 1] and value above 1 are limited to 1
When width is 1, the separation of Right channel and Left Channel is maximum. That means that the stereo effect is maximum. In others words we have
-Left Output = 100% x Left Channel
-Right Output = 100% x Right Channel
When width is 0, the separation is minimum.
-Left Output = (50% x Left Channel) + (50% x Right Channel)
-Right Output = (50% x Right Channel) + (50% x Left Channel)
As Left Output is equal to Right Output, it sounds monophonic.
For Widh from 0 to 1, Left Channel is more important on Left Output than on Right Output; similarly Right Channel is more important on Right Output than on Left Output.
For exemple for width = 0.5 (the default value)
-Left Output = (75% x Left Channel) + (25% x Right Channel)
-Right Output = (75% x Right Channel) + (25% x Left Channel)
Notes: the range of all parameters is [0..1] for both reverbs. Be aware that for RoomSize and Damp the new reverb is very sensitive beetween 0 and 0.5.
What do you prefer, the freeverb Width effect or freemverb one ?.
Good hearing
Regards
