Hey Frank,
I went ahead and added it to this branch on github.
https://github.com/chu11/freeipmi-mirror/tree/interpret_drive_slot_transition_severity
./autogen.sh
./configure
ipmi-sensors/ipmi-sensors -h ...
if you could give it a shot, I'd appreciate it.
