Think of this as a first effort, the GUI will follow which visually pulls projects/file browsing together.

If you open a file, then close freeride, that open file will be tracked in the project now instead of as a global property (in the editpane properties file). Each project is contained in a YAML-based file with the extension .frproj.

I have not tested nor used this project stuff yet but I was just wondering if having a 5 letters extension for the project files (.frproj) is not going to a problem under Windows 9x or some other platforms in the future. And people are so accostumed to 3 letters extension.

I know it's a detail but what about using .frp instead? I have already checked that this extension is not used by any other applications.
