[ft] Background color

Hi,

My name is Louis and I'm working with the freetype lib on a project.

Everything works fine : I can display whatever text wherever I want.

My problem is that I try to display a video as background for my application.
When the freetype text is on top of the video then I have a black background 
all around the character.

On the attached image, the green background is the video, and the black 
rectangle is the problem.

Do you know how to get rid of this black background ?
