| Hello Guys,
|
| I hope I'm doing the bug handling correctly.
|
| "Obsolete" bugs, which don't happen in 1.2.0pre:
| Bug 140436 (http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=140436) - Crash
| on clicking "bookmarked" drives.

Hey wait. This is about the 1.0 version with gtk-1.
This is still the only one available in debian up to 3.1.
I doubt 1.1.7 is included in any stable other distro yet.
So this 1.0 version is effectivly still the standard out of the box version
 out there.

The question is, is there any official statement that 1.0 will not be
supported anymore ? Then that should go to the distro maintainer.
And he (eg, address@hidden) has to take the package out then,
because it will not update to security fixes.

I think that's the official way.

If there's no such statement, then you have to deal with bug files,
then you can't put a bug obsolete just because it's not 1.1.7.

And this bug *is* existing in 1.0.
It nealry always crashed with mounting.

So what i propose to do is clear the way for 1.2.0 and officially ditch 1.0
(which doesn't mean there couldn't be a gtk-1 version again some day)
(but i indeed think this train is gone now, anyway)
