I wrote a mail to Freerock Gnome where i explained
a bit about GCMD, its history and current status,
asking them to include it in their Gnome dist.

So, soon there may be FRG packages (unofficial/
third-party slackware packages) for x86, x86_64
and PPC.

[x] yes! (unless Nautilus already has a way to view two side-by-side panels
          that I don't know about yet :-)
