And here we are again with our weekly quotum feature request :)
Maybe i missed how this should be working somehow. Currently, selecting with
CTRL+A is 'select-all'. But when renaming files, when there are also subfolders
in the same place, it's a little bit tedious to always uncheck the folders
after CTRL+A ('mark all' ).
How about a special shortcut like CTRL+SHIFT+A for 'mark all files-only' (and
not the folders) ?
Probably with the respective menu entry.
I think it could as well be CTRL+A for 'mark all files' and the SHIFT thing for
'mark really all', because in 99% of all my cases i need files-only, and i find
it even hard to imagine when one would want to select files and folders
together. I mean, moving to another place ? And how often does that happen ??
But renaming / moving just the files, happens all the time.
Which leaves the question if there should be a 'select folders-only' shortcut.
Personally i don't need it and i bet it's even more rarely used than
select-all. But YMMV. It could be added to the menu and left for a custom
dynamic shortcut, in case someone asks for it. But i won't :)
This is of course no priority. But i imagine this cute little thing to be
useful for just anyone.
