I followed gnash back in the days, and unless I missed something the
newest flash was already targeted by another player:

So gnash is probably still relevant for older flash, but, unless I
missed something flash technology, be it old or new is dead anyway, so
it seems rather normal for a software project targeting an old version
of a dead technology to be inactive.
