[Gnump3d-users] Any French users out there?

Hi,

  I've recently been given a French translation of the
 language files, but it suffers from some encoding problems.

  A snippet from the ASCII file reads like this:

GNUMP3d est logiciel libre, couvert par le permis de GNU, et vous ?tes
bienvenu pour le changer et/ou pour distribuer des copies de lui dans
conditions certaines.

  Now my French is limited to Bonjour and small words, but I'm pretty
 sure that I shouldn't be seeing '?' characters.

  Would anybody be willing to look at this for me?
