RAYTRACE, written by Prof. Lindlein of FAU Germany, is appropriate for that purpose.  Unfortunately it's not open source and only for Windows.

I have an experimental program which can compute the interference pattern for small regions near the focal point given a list of rays, and their relative optical path distance.
