You are chasing a ghost.  You'll get +/10 ms gfor maybe on hour, but then it 
will wander off, and you need to recalibrate.

Instead spend $15 and get a GPS with PPS and get +/- 1 us easily.

And as Bryan said, this is best moved to chroynd lists.
