The warnings in the log show that the URW postscript fonts cannot be found.
The effect of this is that only the 14 base fonts will be available to you if
you use the native groff pdf driver (the full 35 standard postscript fonts
will still be available if you use the postscript driver). Out of interest, do
you have the fonts installed somewhere? (One of the fonts it is looking for is
a file called "a010013l.pfb", is this somewhere on your system?) If you do
find it please can you tell me the directory which contains the fonts.
