The first part of your GSoC work was integrated in ‘master’ in (guix
store database) and (guix store deduplication).  It’s now used by ‘guix
offload’, ‘guix pack’, etc., and I modified it so that it’d work well
for these.

Could you try and rebase ‘guile-daemon’ on top of these modules?  I’m
happy to answer any questions you may have regarding modifications that
I made.
