[Help-gsl] Wavelets

Hello, 
When I'm trying to compile wavelet example code from gsl referance manual, I 
encounter segmentaion fault. I am windows xp sp2 user, with mingw intalled. I 
used gsl distributions from 1.8 - 1.11, each gives me the same result - access 
violation. 
Can someone tell me is that just I cannot build the wavelets libraries 
correctly, or there is a bug in the distribution?
If the former is the case, are there any precautions on how to build wavelets 
libs on windows?
