I'm trying to install smalltalk-2.1 on Solaris 8.
The make runs OK, but the "make install" gives the following errors:
make install-data-hook
make[3]: Entering directory `/home/cerebus/sun/local/src/smalltalk-2.1'
./gst-package --srcdir="." --no-load --destdir="" packages.xml
Merging packages.xml and
/usr/local/smalltalk-2.1/share/smalltalk/packages.xml...
Unrecognized command: </packages>
./gst-package: syntax error at line 199: `;' unexpected
make[3]: *** [install-data-hook] Error 2
make[3]: Leaving directory `/home/cerebus/sun/local/src/smalltalk-2.1'
make[2]: *** [install-data-am] Error 2
make[2]: Leaving directory `/home/cerebus/sun/local/src/smalltalk-2.1'
make[1]: *** [install-am] Error 2
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/cerebus/sun/local/src/smalltalk-2.1'
make: *** [install-recursive] Error 1
Looks like a problem with the gst-package script.
Any help would be appreciated!
