Hi again,

Despite the fix I applied for the long double alignment problem, it
appears that gst is still not building correctly on ia64 (and possibly
others - the builds are still in progress or pending).

The build is failing with a bus error when it attempts to build the
gst.im. Here are logs of the build:

http://buildd.debian.org/fetch.php?&pkg=gnu-smalltalk&ver=2.1.7-2&arch=ia64&stamp=1086714135&file=log&as=raw

There are quite a few warnings from dict.inl and some from
interp-bc.inl and others, but I have no idea what the issue here may
be.

Paolo, is there any information I can give you to help track down this
issue?

If you don't have time to work on this, I can see what assistance we
can get from the debian ports mailing lists. I myself do not have the
knowledge or hardware required to debug this, but I can see who I can
find to help.
