I think I maybe discovered some weird entry in the FAQ:

   Q: Where does GNU Smalltalk run?

   A: Ruby is developed under Linux and Mac OS X. It runs under most Unix 
systems
   (as well as under Windows, using Cygwin). A native port to Windows is in
   progress.

What is meant there?
