What software drives the GNU Smalltalk website? It looks great, and the
community features are pretty cool. Is it open-source?

It's Drupal, a PHP package. With, as I understand it, some local fixes.

Here are they (from git log :-):

many changes to Text::Wiki::MediaWiki
local changes to project module for issue mail formatting
applied security fixes
don't "close" issues, we don't have that status!
fix problem in revision.
security advisory 31
add disallow entry to robots.txt for project issue comments
use real name for creator and for blog module breadcrumb generation
make h3..h6 smaller than h2
http://drupal.org/files/sa-2008-006/SA-2008-006-5.5.patch
link projects in the issue subscribing form
disable inline URL conversion in Text::Wiki
update robots.txt
fix project_issue XSS (upgrade from 1.2 to 1.3, more or less)
implement RSS feed for revisions
book sort by nid
parse comments as Text::Wiki elements
disable javascript upload
fix bug in taxonomy-based feeds

plus the theme which is 100% customized for GNU Smalltalk

Paolo
