Google accepts new applications starting on March 24thrd (see http://code.google.com/soc/2008), but it's best if interested people write here on the list beforehand.

If anyone wants to act as mentor, please write on the list about that too.

Do I see it right that GST wasn't accepted as GSOC org? Or do I miss it
on http://code.google.com/soc/2008? Was there any reason?

The Free Software Foundation should have been the organization for GST. I'll ask what happened (or did I miss it, either?) and check if ESUG is also sponsoring Smalltalk-based projects for next summer.
