Dear Judy,
libltdl is part of GNU libtool. If you install GNU libtool, you should get
libltdl.
Thanks Christian!
It seems to be installed now:
judy:libextractor-0.6.2 judy$ libtool
libtool: no output file specified (specify with -o output)
Usage: libtool -static [-] file [...] [-filelist listfile[,dirname]]
[-arch_only arch] [-sacLT]
Usage: libtool -dynamic [-] file [...] [-filelist listfile[,dirname]]
[-arch_only arch] [-o output] [-install_name name]
[-compatibility_version #] [-current_version #] [-seg1addr 0x#]
[-segs_read_only_addr 0x#] [-segs_read_write_addr 0x#] [-seg_addr_table
<filename>] [-seg_addr_table_filename <file_system_path>] [-all_load]
[-noall_load]
But I get a make error:
libtool: link: cannot find the library `../../libltdl/libltdlc.la' or
unhandled argument `../../libltdl/libltdlc.la'
make[4]: *** [libextractor.la] Error 1
make[3]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[2]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make: *** [all] Error 2
I know this isn't a libextractor problem, but if you don't mind my
asking -- Is the problem a relative path for libltdlc.la in the make file?
thanks again for your help,
judy
