I'd prefer to fix the example in
http://lilypond.org/doc/v2.16/Documentation/notation/fonts#entire-document-fonts
so the value of the global staff size is not needed.
This can be calculated from 'staff-height:

but I'd be happier with this fix if I understood
why it has to be divided by 2.
