Interesting suggestion. But there's also midi to take into account.
What I do is I make the score with the 'real' (non-capo) chords and use
this to produce the printed score and midi.
Then I re-run with chords transposed for the capo and the text "CAPO:
xx" added somewhere (subtitle or so). This print is for the guitar
player.
It would be nice to have something more elegant...
