I'm currently looking in detail at the repertoire of glyphs included in
Emmentaler to cross-check it against the repertoire of glyphs currently
encoded in SMuFL[1], in an effort to ensure that there are no glaring
omissions.
Jan Nieuwenhuizen and David Kastrup have been very kind in trying to
answer some of the questions that have arisen, but I am wary of wearing
out my welcome with them. So instead I am coming to the community to see
if anybody can help me. Here is my first question.
The glyph Ped.M (code point U+E17C) looks a bit like a bold, italic
hyphen. Does anybody know what its purpose might be?
Thanks in advance for any assistance!
Daniel (at Steinberg)
