[Linphone-users]running 0.9.1 rpm's Suse 7.2 / kernel 2.4.19

Hello, 

Success ! 0.9.1 is running on Suse 7.2 Kernel 2.4.19. 
(origin 2.4.4)

But there are several obstacles I will tell you: 

I downloaded 0.9.1 rpm's from server 
  http://savannah.gnu.org/download/linphone/0.9.1/rpm
yesterday: 

    libosip1-0.9.0-2.i386.rpm
    linphone-0.9.1-2.i386.rpm
    libwrap-7.6-27.i386.rpm

I read   readme.first. 

 1.  rpm -ivh libosip1-0.9.0-2.i386.rpm   .. o.k. 
 2.  rpm -ivh linphone-0.9.1-2.i386.rpm
           error: failed dependencies:
             libdb3.so.3   is needed by linphone-0.9.1-2
             libwrap.so.0   is needed by linphone-0.9.1-2
     ... like announced in readme.first ...
 3.  rpm -ivh libwrap-7.6-27.i386.rpm
       file /usr/share/man/man5/hosts_access.5.gz from install of
       libwrap-7.6-27 conflicts with file from package tcpd-7.6-154
       file /usr/share/man/man5/hosts_options.5.gz from install of
       libwrap-7.6-27 conflicts with file from package tcpd-7.6-154 

     ... not announced in readme.first ... hmmmm ...

       ... okay, indeed: only conficted with man-pages

   4. once again:  linphone-0.9.1-2.i386.rpm
 
       ... but I can't find any  libdb3.so.3  or
       libdb3.3.so on my linux box ?!?! 
       I can only find a libdb3.so.1 !

      I generated a link libdb3.so.3 -> libdb3.so.1
       (after I executed ldconfig), but the same error with 
       rpm -ivh linphone-0.9.1-2.i386.rpm
 
      I searched  libdb3.so.3  with google and found
      it one on 
      http://handhelds.org/download/intimate/beta_a2/usr/lib/.
      I copied  libdb3.so.3  to /usr/local/lib (included in 
      /etc/ld.so.conf ) Attention to the rights: chmod +r ..

      ... but the same error with
       rpm -ivh linphone-0.9.1-2.i386.rpm
      
      o.k., like mentioned in readme.first: --nodeps: 

      rpm -ivh linphone-0.9.1-2.i386.rpm --nodeps 

      
Now 0.9.1 is running. Maybe that the link 
libdb3.so.3 -> libdb3.so.1 was enough if I would have
installed linphone with --nodeps in this stage. 

With SB PCI 128 Model 4810 (not 4700, see other thread) I'm 
glad in my LAN. Hope that jitter is not too big in 
produktive environement (56k modem) next week.
