Have a look at the definitions in the @Eq package for putting dots,
overbars, underbars etc. on equations.  The worst thing is going to
be the packaging; about the most concise you will be able to get
to, I believe, is

    awordwitha{%n}accentoveranen

unless you want to write a "preprocessor" and link it in using
Lout's @Filter feature.
