1) copied binaries to `c:\lout\bin'
2) copied `data', `doc', `font', `hyph', `include', `maps' to `c:\lout'
3) set LOUTLIB=c:/lout
4) went to `c:\lout\doc\design'
5) ran `..\..\bin\lout -r3 all > test.ps'
Got this error:
***
...
lout file "s7_0" (from "all" line 58):
1,1: unresolved cross reference @SectionList&&18.677.s7_0.1
1,1: unresolved cross reference @SectionList&&18.677.s7_0.1
lout:
: lout -r beginning run 3:
lout:
: fatal error: cannot write to database file lout.lix
***
6) ran `..\..\bin\lout -r3 all > test.ps' again
Got another error:
***
lout:
: lout -r beginning run 2:
lout:
: lout -r beginning run 3:
lout file "c:/lout/data/fontdefs.ld" (from "report" line 501, from "all"
line 4)

GOTCHA! :-)
Now I played around with `_default.pif' and `autoexec.nt'/`config.nt'.
Changing `FILES=20' to `FILES=50' solved the problem! So Lout just runs
out of file handles. Such information should make it into the docs.
