Well, for me lout sometimes also prints some strange errors like the above - and those errors do not disappear. In those cases I remove all the document specific .ld-files (make clean, except references.ld, of course) and re-lout the complete document.

Other alternatives: Right now I am not quite sure about the difference between "import" and "extend". Maybe also try the later. Also check, whether @T1 has been defined by the standard math package.
