LYNX-DEV WRAPPING

Thanks to all who pointed out my mistake of using VMS file syntax with 
the file:/ specification.  It works properly now.

Another question: A text which is 80 characters wide and looks OK on a 
terminal (or terminal emulation) with this width with something other 
than LYNX annoyingly is wrapped at 79 characters when viewed with LYNX, 
so that there is often a line of length 1 character.  Is there anyway I 
can change this in one of the configuration files?

As to upgrading, LYNX is something I do want to upgrade whenever another 
.X version comes along---the improvements seem to be worth it---but 
since I hope to migrate from VAX VMS 5.5 to ALPHA VMS 6.X or 7.X soon, 
probably before 2.7 comes along, I want to have all the fun at once 
and will upgrade then.
