Hi. I really have made an effort to convince the graphic artists and
web page writers here to keep lynx in mind. In return, I requested a week
or two ago a breakdown of how many and what percentage of lynx users were
are seeing.
Over the course of a 3-week period (9/24 - 10/13), 208 clients accessed
www.cas.org with a lynx client. This is just over 1% of the total. A
rough lynx breakdown follows.
33 Lynx/2-4-2
25 Lynx/2.3
24 Lynx 2.5
23 Lynx/2.3 BETA
21 Lynx/2.3.7 BETA
16 Lynx/2.6
16 Lynx/2.4-FM
10 Lynx/2-4-1
10 Lynx/2-4
8 Lynx/2.5FM
6 Lynx 2.4-FM
4 Lynx/2.3.6 BETA
3 Lynx/2.5
2 Lynx/2.3.8 BETA
2 Lynx/2.3-FM
1 lynx/2.5fm-96.07.25
1 Lynx/2.5FM-ncf
1 Lynx/2.2
1 Lynx/2.0.10
1 Lynx doo.daa.doo.daa.buss.stop.here
1 Lynx 2.5FM
This looks like an awful lot of old lynx users out there - clear back to 2.0!
