There's been no substantive reply to this, so I'm reiterating
to make the situation utterly clear to everyone.

When Lynx was GPLed in 1995, to be supported thereafter by
the Lynx User Community, Bob Izenberg agreed to host the lynx-dev
list at sig.net, did so, and has been maintaining the mailing list
reliably ever since.

Two other people volunteered to provide resources and thereafter
maintain the lynx-dev hypermail archive, but neither has come through
on that. UKans is continuing to provide interim support for the
hypermail archive, but for what is now an unreasonably long period of
time, and cannot be expected to continue indefinitely.

If the Lynx User Community does not come up with a new site
and conscientious support for the hypermail archive, in due time there
will be no such archive. We do not need more discussion of what
"somebody should do" about this matter, we need a volunteer who will
actually do it, soon!
