LYNX-DEV ftp doesn't work in lynx 2.6?

Subject: LYNX-DEV ftp doesn't work in lynx 2.6?
Date: Thu, 14 Nov 1996 13:43:52 +0100

Hi all,

I'm experiencing problems with ftp URL's, see the trace file below.
The problem does not seem to be related to this specific ftp address.
Netscape is using rftp, and works fine. Lynx is not.

Environment:
        HP9000-735 running HP/UX-10.10
Original lynx2-6 patched for xterm-mouse only.
        Using ncurses-1.9.8a
        Using socks.cstc.4.2.2

Is someone keeping a list of known problems with lynx 2.6?
Has this been solved in the latest 2-6update.zip?
If not, any solutions?
If not, any explanations?

Paul
