Well, as is currently being discussed the "FAQ" is really just a
collection of links into the lynx-dev archives. There is not really
anything that can be mailed. There USED to be a couple of places that
would allow you to "browse" the web with e-mail, but I'm not sure if they
still exist.

Try turning on Raw 8-bit mode right below the character set selection on
the options screen and see if that helps. If anyone is familiar with
UTF-8, it might be something to consider adding to Lynx.
