Suppose I have this piece of HTML:
<p>Take a l<img src="oo.gif" alt=oo>k at this.</p>
Lynx will render it as:
Take a l oo k at this.
Collapsable spaces are inserted before and after ALT text, but I don't see
why. If there was no ALT attribute, Lynx would supply pseudoalt [IMAGE]
and in that case spaces are OK. Is there a special reason to insert them
always?
