LYNX-DEV Lynx binary distribution

Since I now have ftp space at CRL (for whatever that's worth), I thought
it might be useful for me to collect and distribute binaries from here. I
realized the importance of this when I tried to compile Lynx on crl and
had various problems. I finally gave up and found someone else willing to
share an executable with me. Now, we have amongst us people who build
Lynx for a number of OSs. I trust most of them and would have no problems
using binaries compiled by them. But this obviously isn't how binary
distributions were done at UKans, so I have some hesitation about this. I
wonder what other people think. BTW, I have a zipped binary available
already at ftp://ftp.crl.com/users/su/subir/ Take a look at the readme
file and see what you think about that disclaimer.

If no one is exceedingly uncomfortable with this, I can begin collecting
2.6 binaries from people in this group and making them available. Since I
have ~5MB, I think I can probably make 10-15 available and replace them
with newer ones as they become available.
