Since I still have access to our VMS cluster at NYU, I thought one of the
last things I would do would be to build VMS binaries for LIBIDO (thanks
Rob, I really do love that name). So I tried on our VAX a few days ago and
everything went nutty, then I tried on our AXP today and the build.com
script worked like a dream and from preliminary tests, the executable
looked "fully functional". I changed absolutely _nothing_ from the main
distribution (I guess since the fixed512 thing can be set in lynx.cfg I
didn't have to do it in userdefs.h, since I didn't know exactly what I was
doing anyway). So it's now available, though I don't know how much use
it's going to be to anyone. BTW, I heard a comment fly past about saving
the object files for people without compilers on their machines. I did
zip up the entire directory after building Lynx, but I don't know what to
do with it now. Will whoever made that suggestion (unless I imagined it)
please get in touch with me so I can do whatever is necessary.. Thanx.
I'll try building on the VAX Again sometime later, but I really don't have
much hope.

The Army has carried the American ... ideal to its logical conclusion.
Not only do they prohibit discrimination on the grounds of race, creed
and color, but also on ability.
