Hi,

I think the feature of being able to quickly move the "cursor" to a form
field or button would be very nice to have. It's unfortunate that the
current code/data structure doesn't allow this to be added easily.
Thinking about this, I have come up with an idea that may provide the
feature (or something close) without too many drastic changes. Here's my
thought: There are already several times that Lynx "creates links" on its
own, for example, when reading news. When numbered links is on, could Lynx
create two links for each form field or button? The first would be an <A
NAME=".."> anchor and the second an HREF anchor pointing to that same
name. The HREF would be numbered, but the NAME would not. Then, the user
could enter the number, Lynx would move to the NAME anchor and be one
keystroke away from the desired form field.

I realize I'm describing the feature as if the HTML were being changed by
Lynx and that's not what really happens.

Joe
