If you browse the change notes you will see that at least one other member
of this mailing list also uses screen - I have made a few modest contributions
to the doc set of screen in the past (yes, it's time I kicked in some more,
however, life is short and there are so many sandboxes in which to play...).
I continue to use screen extensively since my only access from home is
via a vt220 that calls into a Unix box. Screen is my life saver, with it's
cut and paste ability between windows, etc.
Future screen releases may include overlapping windows; currently it
only supports full independant windows.
