Barry,
While implementing JavaScript was nixed, can you make BarryScript similar
enough to JavaScript that a future modification would make it usable with
JavaScript without starting over? I would guess that this would mean modling
Barryscript after the syntax (probably of a subset) of JavaScript. Maybe
even go for the text specific stuff being fairly close to JavaScript. Then
a few mods and we'd have text only JavaScript support after your MS advisors
pass off on your project.
If you do something like that, and then migrate it to a JavaScript work-alike,
I would like to suggest that it always and forever remain BarryScript or some
such (of your choice) if integrated into mainstream Lynx.
