I received a very nice message from David A. Watta at the Atlantic, whose title 
seems to be "New Media Editor".  They are taking steps to make sure their HTML 
is properly coded and assured me that The Atlantic Monthly is interested in 
reaching as large a crowd as it can and that they will be careful not to 
exclude 
other Web technology (i.e. Lynx) as much as is practicle.

Just thought I'd put some closure on this topic.
