LYNX-DEV chance for publicity

From: Philip Webb
Subject: LYNX-DEV chance for publicity

Michelle Rafter, who writes a computer column from LA, is asking
for examples of bad stuff on the WWW, to include in a future article.
She appears in Reuters often & this could be a good opportunity
for some publicity about Lynx. Her piece this week includes:

What's worse than waiting a minute for a Web page to materialize?
Try waiting a minute then seeing nothing but a cutesy animated ad banner
at the top of the page. Other Web pet peeves: blue text on black background,
anything that blinks, and wallpaper so busy the words on top of it are
illegible. Send your own Web page pet peeves to me at the e-mail address
listed below and I'll include examples in an upcoming column.

(Michelle V. Rafter writes about cyberspace and technology from Los Angeles.
   Reach her at address@hidden .)

May I urge lynxdevers to send her a couple of examples of the kind of stuff
they've encountered, with some strong words in favor of & information
about Lynx? I've already done so.
