Good idea.  Would there be any point to extending this (another TO-DO :(
to where if a line were edited out of a bookmark file, Lynx would refuse
to delete (`r') a bookmark, with a message why the request was refused?

Something to the tune of:

<!-- If this line is deleted, Lynx will not attempt to remove links
from this file.  If you wish to have Lynx both r)emove as well as a)dd
links, you should not edit this file by hand. -->
