LYNX-DEV bugs? :-)

Hi there,

This may be a bug (missing code) or just bad html coding on
my part, just wanted to let you guys know. (you may need
to page down to the example html first to gather what
I mean below below)
==================================================================
Situation (w\complete 'unordered list' example at the bottom):

I wanted to make the first three entries below in the 'unordered
list' (located below) 'bold'. The rest of the entries (which were
unavailable) in "normal italics". Until it got to the last entry,
which would be 'bold' again.

I tested the format with Arachne as well as Navroad and Opera
for Windows. They processed the 'unordered list' with the above
attribute changes well, but Bobcat and Lynx couldn't handle it
within the confines of the 'unordered list'. They both "broke"
(for lack of a better name :-) ) the unordered list.

btw, Concentric is using the latest version of Lynx (plus
bugfixes). They are pretty good at keeping it updated (usually
within a week of release).

In the meantime, I'll just get the pages up sans italic\bold
within the 'u-list'.

======================================================================

Below are the main sections in question, followed by the
complete 'unordered list'.

Line 3)    <LI><A HREF="hrtglss1.zip">&#32;Heart of Glass</A></b><I>
                                                             ^^^^^^^
Line 18)   <LI>&#32;Top of the World</I><b>
                                    ^^^^^^^
Line 19) <LI>&#32;(more to follow after I finish the above...)
           </UL>

</b>

Note: I tried moving the <B> and <I>, before <LI>, after <LI>,
before </A>.. throughout different areas of the list... same
problem.

======================================================================
The complete unordered list below, as an example:

<p>The MOD files:
<br>
<br>

<FONT SIZE=+1>
<b>
 <UL>
 <LI><A HREF="http://ETC/thesign1.zip";>&#32;The Sign</A>
 <LI><A HREF="http://ETC/imagine1.zip";>&#32;Imagine</A>
 <LI><A HREF="http://ETC/hrtglss1.zip";>&#32;Heart of Glass</A></b><I>
 <LI>&#32;One Tin Soldier                                     ^^^^^^^
 <LI>&#32;Eight is Enough
 <LI>&#32;Alone Again
 <LI>&#32;Karma Chameleon
 <LI>&#32;Andy Grittith Theme
 <LI>&#32;Take me out to the Ballgame
 <LI>&#32;Total Eclipse of the Heart
 <LI>&#32;Brady Bunch Theme
 <LI>&#32;Can't fight this feeling
 <LI>&#32;Feliz Navidad
 <LI>&#32;Green Acres Theme
 <LI>&#32;Honesty
 <LI>&#32;Cute Song
 <LI>&#32;Nine to Five
 <LI>&#32;Top of the World</I><b> ( <-------- this is where it ends)
 <LI>&#32;(more to follow after I finish the above...)
 </UL>
</b>

<p>I have many others at various stages of development (from the 50's
to the mid-eighties). I'm not certain how soon I can get to them,
but a new one should be appearing every so often.

======================================================================

Regards,

and a sincere thank you for two marvelous products, keep up
the good work :-)
